JanSeva-government scheme
JanSeva is a modern government scheme application designed to simplify access to public welfare services for Indian citizens. The project focuses on creating a user-friendly and accessible digital experience where users can easily discover schemes, check eligibility, and apply online through a clean and intuitive interface.
Challenges
The major challenges in this project was simplifying complex government processes into a clean and easy-to-understand user experience. Managing large amounts of scheme information without making the interface overwhelming required strong information hierarchy and thoughtful navigation design. Another challenge was designing for users with different levels of digital literacy, especially rural and non-technical users, while maintaining accessibility, clarity, and trust through the overall interface.
Solutions
Designed a clean and accessible UI/UX system with simplified navigation, multilingual support, clear information hierarchy, and guided user flows. The platform improves user engagement by reducing confusion during scheme discovery and application processes while making government services more approachable for all age groups.
The Results
The final design delivered a modern, user-friendly, and accessible government service platform that improved the overall user experience. The streamlined navigation and simplified application flow helped reduce confusion and made scheme discovery easier for users. The project also established a consistent design system with responsive layouts, clean visuals, and user-centered interactions, resulting in a professional and portfolio-ready UI/UX case study.
